A driving effort of our union is advocating for unilateral announcements from publications that help determine work conditions for the freelancers they hire. Through open discussion and collaboration, The Freelance Solidarity Project works with publications to outline baseline terms for freelance media labor — whether writing, photography, illustration, audio, design, video, or other freelance digital media work — and make those terms public.
